WARDOGS does not use fixed classes. Players buy weapons, medical supplies, building tools, backpacks and vehicles to create the role their squad needs.
Role freedom is an economy choice
The official FAQ uses builders and medics as examples, then notes that a larger backpack can support a hybrid role. Flexibility costs cash and inventory capacity, so every role is also a budget decision.
- Medic or revive support
- Builder and fortification support
- Transport and logistics
- Anti-vehicle response
- Flexible rifle or reconnaissance role
Avoid pre-launch tier lists
A final weapon or role ranking would be speculation before public balance data exists. Build around the current objective and squad gap instead of copying an unverified loadout.
What remains unknown
- Final item costs, carry weights and weapon balance are not stable public data.
- No official best-class ranking exists because roles are not locked classes.
Field questions
FAQ
Does WARDOGS have classes?
Not fixed classes. Equipment purchases define your role.
Can I be a medic and builder?
The developer FAQ explicitly describes hybrid roles as possible when your equipment and backpack allow it.
What is the best loadout?
There is no source-safe universal answer before live balance data. Match the kit to squad needs and available cash.
